2008 Michigan Moments Desk Calendar

THANK YOU for your interest in the calendars! They have been sold out. Please check back in the fall of 2008 for the 2009 Desk Calendars.

I will again be offering the desk-sized 2008 Michigan Moments Calendar. They are 8.27" x 3.74" and perfect for that little spot in your office or home. These make great holiday gifts as well for friends and family! The desk-sized calendars are $6.95 each, plus shipping (unless you'd like to pick them up from me free of charge). Michigan residents please add 6% sales tax to your total purchase.

The calendars will ship out around the week after Thanksgiving, in time for the holidays.

You may purchase your 2008 Desk Calendar right now via a secure online PayPal transaction. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use PayPal - most credit cards are accepted.

Of course, I also accept orders via a check, but please contact me to make arrangements.

Last Day of my Residency...

Here's my travelogue entry for my last full day of my residency program!

My travels took me over on the east side of Grand Traverse Bay, to check out a nature preserve and to get away from the lake-effect rain showers.

Travelogue Update - Three More Entries

Here are my travelogue entries for:

Tuesday, October 9 - Empire Bluffs
Wednesday, October 10 - Glen Arbor Rainy Day
Thursday, October 11 - Glen Arbor Galleries

A day and a half left, and my artist residency adventures will come to an end. The weather will hopefully improve so I can show you more photography rather than comments about places I ate in...

Port Oneida Farms

Here is my seventh entry in my Glen Arbor Travelogue. I spent a full afternoon around the Port Oneida area, exploring the historic farms and landscape and tasting apples from trees planted long ago!

Be sure to check out the late-night lightning photograph as well.

LAKE Magazine Project Snapshot Finalist

LAKE Magazine just had their first Photography Contest – and received more than 1,000 entries. They were looking for the best shots of the Great Lakes region and there were some very fine entries.

I received runner-up in the Lake Michigan category with this twilight image of Grand Haven. I also received an honorable mention in the Landscape/Nature category with a photo of the Fallasburg Bridge in an early October snowfall.

A Day Around Fishtown

Here's my fifth entry into my Glen Arbor Travelogue.

Windy but beautiful weather, and it was perfect by day's end. I went down to the water's edge before going to bed and was amazed how clear and full of stars the sky was!

Morning Glory

Here's my fourth entry into my Glen Arbor Travelogue.

Today was the reverse of yesterday - I caught five minutes of the sunrise, and there was no more sun for the rest of the day!

Travelogue Post for October 1, 2007

Here's my third entry into my Glen Arbor Travelogue. Again - most of the day was without sun (it was pouring for most of the day!). I did manage a few shots in the rain, and caught five minutes of the sunset!
